What is this, you guys? I’m blogging! It has been way too long but also; I needed it to be. I wasn’t in the most fabulous space back in the winter and taking a long extended break was exactly what I needed.
Over the past half year, I have been slowly coming out of my protective shell and sharing life again, mostly over on Instagram. I missed the community most of all while I was gone, hence my return.
Since being more active online, I have had some offers for ambassadorship and collaborations. Not all have floated my boat, but there has been one that checked all my boxes.
Loyale Studio reached out to me back in the Spring, and I am finally able to share the news as they launch the new Fall team.
Here are some significant reasons why I said a big fat YES to this small ethical shop,
*fair-trade and made in North Carolina
* celebrates fashion and food, as a gateway to being thoughtful
about what we put on and in our bodies.
*$2 from each garment sold is donated to local, national and global groups making a positive impact
* classic, stylish pieces that are transitional into different seasons
* passionate about building a larger community that shares and wants to learn more about ethical artisans
WIth two classic multi-functional styles to choose from I chose the Style No. 2. Solid black tee.
I knew this was going to be a staple in my wardrobe as soon as I saw it.
I’m a HUGE fan of relaxed, classic fits as my body has changed majorly since having my fourth child. I’m still healing from her birth over a year ago and owning clothes that make me feel confident is a must.
This style tee is long in both the front and back which means you can wear it numerous ways. I personal love leggings most days but I wanted to step outside of my normal “mom” look for you all. You’re welcome.
For my second look, all I did was switch up the jacket to add a little more edge. Fun fact about me is that I was a bit of a punk rocker back in the day. Picture a pixie cut, red hair, Dickies pants completed with a studded belt. I did some major crowd surfacing back then.
I have a few more styles up my sleeve for this tee but I’ll save those for a little more down the road. When those leaves really start to turn! Bring on Fall ethical fashion y’all!
