A BABY!! It has been a long road to this day friends. Two years and three losses to be exact. Today, I am right on the 6 week mark which is still early however, we talked and instead of hiding away in fear I want to CELEBRATE this baby. Regardless of how this ends, whether we will have to say goodbye too soon or we end up with a beautiful baby in our arms, this will be my last pregnancy. God is ultimately in control of this baby’s life and I trust Him.
We found out almost 2 weeks ago.
It was the week of our church’s soccer camp, so if you were one of the ones that saw me dragging my feet each day, this is why. I have been unbelievably spent each and every day. I almost didn’t go through with these photos last night because I am just so tired these days. I’m loving it because it is a sign that everything is going smoothly. Bring on the symptoms! I’ll be going into more detail about all of that stuff in another post.
Tamara, from Discovering Parent graciously baked those amazing cupcakes you see above. I have had this vision for an announcement for some time now and to see it come to life was such a blessing. Thank you, friend! And to my amazing husband who put up with me bossing him around on how to take the photos. I say he did a FANTASTIC job!

If you do not know, which if you haven’t experienced a loss or know someone who has, you may not know the term, rainbow baby. This term comes from when a woman goes through a loss or losses and then goes on to have a healthy pregnancy afterward, that baby is a rainbow baby. Why? Because after the storm there is always a rainbow.
I wanted to represent our whole family in these photos. Not only us living but the ones we have lost as well. That is why you see nine cupcakes in total. This is my 7th pregnancy, can you believe that? Seventh! That alone is worth celebrating.

I have looked pregnant since having David. Now that I’m 6 weeks I look 6 months. I can’t tell what is bloat, what is my diastasis recti (separation of abdominal) or baby. No matter what it all is, I’m going to rock it while I can.
When I decided that I wanted to announce it this week I contacted a few local businesses that I adore to see if they would help me celebrate this baby as well. I heard back from the lovely Amanda from Bebe De Luxe and Jessica from Mint & Birch. They have both offered ONE Adventurous Mama reader something.
Up for grabs in the celebration of this Grochowski baby is a Luxe Jar from Bebe De Luxe (not shown in picture). Along with a custom brass necklace in the winner’s choice of font from Mint & Birch. Please enter the rafflecopter below for your chance to win! Contest closes next Friday July, 28th.
Liking pages are NOT required but I would appreciate if you went over to both of these amazing ladies pages and showed them some love. Out of all the brands I emailed, they were the two that got back to me and with such love and excitement.
