Homeschooling has got to an awesome start, other than the bump in the road of my father passing. I’m getting ready to gear up again and I wanted to show you all a little peak inside of our class room at home. It’s not much and I’ll be adding as we go along but for right now it has everything that we need.
We love the old fashioned/vintage look so we scooped up some vintage desks dirt cheap for the kids, one we even got for free! I’m not really teaching David yet but he has loved sitting down and coloring or doing activities when the girls are doing theirs. We purchased the posters from the teacher’s store here in Langley called the Teacher’s Tool Chest. They have plenty of resources, it got me extremely excited for the years to come! They are located right on the bypass at: 20530 Langley Bypass #111.
I purchased this picture holder at Target when they were leaving Canada for a great price. It was supposed to be meant for family pictures but I thought it would be great to hang all of their art work and homework.

I have always wanted to make a sensory bin but last year I did not get around to it so I was determined this year to get them done. I’m planing on making one for each season. I dyed the rice red and added popcorn kernels for the base. Then headed to Micheal’s and used a few coupons to get the little acorns, scarecrows, pompoms (for apples), brooms, wheel barrow and bucket. I made the “trees” from felt and toilet paper rolls. The kiddos loved it and played with it for about 40mins. I’ll be adding some small pumpkins now that it is October.
Happy Adventuring Friends!
