I finally have some time this week to think about some things that I am thankful for!
1.) Welcoming another precious baby to our family this coming June!
I came up with this idea from bits and pieces of other announcements that I have seen. We have gotten a ton of compliments and excitement from it! When I first found out I was pregnant it was a bit of a shock. We hadn’t been trying and we were using protective measures however if God wants you to have baby you are going to have a baby! It made the two lines on the stick easier to come into focus!
2.)This moment caught on camera!
I am rarely in any of the photos because I am the one taking them. But the lighting was great so I punched in all the settings and told Jon where to stand and he got this!
3.) This girl.
She is by far the most challenging out of the three. She’s strong willed and stubborn! She is also the most like me, I think that’s why we butt heads so often. She is also the most caring and willing to help without being asked 3 or more times.
4.) Living close to so many beautiful places.
We haven’t been out exploring much since Jon has switched hours. Hopefully we can get some family walks in soon!
Bonus 6.) The kids in their costumes and a house full on Halloween night.
This year I put it out there to any families that wanted to join us trick or treating then head back to our place for snacks and a little hang out and three other families joined in! It was great! I’m really trying to build more relationships this year and connect with other families. As Christians we should value community and fellowship and we do but each of our lives are so different with work schedules, extra activities and spending time with our own families etc that it is difficult. But I am determined to try! Since Jon worked till 4:30 we scrambled to get all the kiddos dressed and fed dinner so I didn’t have time to snap some proper pictures. So the next day we re-dressed them up and I was able to snap a few!
What are you thankful today?!
