I can not believe that it has been a week already, well maybe I can. Time has flown by even faster this week due to my husband gearing up for our annual soccer camp we hold at our church. He’s been gone pretty much everyday for most of the day. These types of weeks are always pretty stressful but I know his time is going toward an amazing event so it makes it a little bit better. I’ll be photographing the event as well next week! I did it last year and really enjoyed it. What have I been thankful this week? Let’s take a look shall we? Comment and let me know some of your little glimpses of thankfulness as well!
1.) My thankfulness journal
I have started my own thankfulness journal as well. I try and remember to jot things down throughout the day/week. My sister in law gave me this journal after she had won it at our small group Christmas party. We played that game where you can steal someone else s gift, well I originally had this and it was stolen from me so Alicine stole it back and gave it to me, Thanks sisto!
2.)My back yard
Well technically it’s not ours but we have great access to it! It’s perfect, especially this week since we filled up the kiddy pool and had a water fight! Made the day feel like it went so much smoother and faster.
3.) My SLR camera
Found this baby for $10.00 with another lens plus an external flash, plus a whole bunch of filters! Even though I think something may be wrong with it I love the look of it and if it’s not functional it’ll be added to an idea I have for our mantel.
4.) My family in the USA
My sister married an American and they now reside in Columbus, OH. I miss her like CRAZY and wish we could just call each other up, have coffee, let the kids run around and trade off babysitting. Oh and camp together! I know God has plans for them there now but I’m praying that in the future her husband who is a police officer will be stationed closer to us, Seattle would be nice, hint hint Matt! 😉 Happy 4th of July Bonners!
5.) Dora the Explorer!
Ok I can not believe I am posting this one. My daughter Abigail is obsessed with Dora and her cousin Diego! And it can get as bad as her waking up at 6am just to watch it from our phones (we send her back to bed). BUT I can always count on them to give me a break in the afternoon while Elizabeth and David are napping. I will pop it on Netflix beside me in our bed and then take a little snooze myself. Abigail could watch it for hours if I let her.
Hope you all have been having a good week!
